Its world premiere celebrates today (June 9, 2009) in Vienna, the new city bus Mercedes-Benz Citaro Fuel Cell Hybrid at the UITP Congress, the World Congress of Verkehrsbetriebe. It is the first vehicle of the new generation fuel cell buses from Daimler. The Mercedes-Benz Citaro Fuel Cell Hybrid sets while driving no pollutants released and runs almost silently. This makes it ideal for use in inner cities and metropolises. Daimler is a small series of around 30 cars finished and European transport companies offer. The Citaro Fuel Cell Hybrid Bus will fall into a Europe-wide large-scale trial in several cities intensively tested.
