Gift ideas: a car with hydrogen model!

It is not just the little ones who want to be spoiled by Santa, the adults too! I suggest a gift that will make you fall in childhood but which will take you to a sustainable mobility of the future: a kit to give birth to a car with fuel cell with hydrogen in the remote model, called Horizon oil FCJJ-20. For fuel, distilled water is needed because of electricity will be turned into hydrogen fuel and oxygen. A solar cell can produce electricity. Its design will transport you to another world! The website www.conrad.fr sold at a price of 79 euros until 1 January 2009. It’s your turn!

It weighs 750 kg. Its measurements? A length of 3 meters and a height of 1.50 m. The cargo capacity is 142 liters (2 +2 seats) and 584 liters (2 seats).

These are the Ecole Polytechnic of Turin (Politecnico di Torino) and the Fiat Research Center (Centro Ricerche Fiat) who concocted (Piedmont Region supports this study).

Fiat Phyllis

Fiat Phyllis is equipped with an electric propulsion and batteries (150 kg) to enable it to enjoy an autonomy of 145 km (with lithium-ion batteries) to 220 km (with lithium polymer batteries). The full recharge time is 5 hours. It also has a fuel cell with hydrogen. Its roof is covered with solar photovoltaic panels supplying its electric motors, giving him an additional autonomy up to 18 km. The acceleration? The 0-50 km/h in 6 seconds. Its maximum speed 130 km/h. Its design is to examine the concepts of asymmetry.

Its strengths.
