Honda FCX Clarity (2008-2009)
Currently there are more than twenty 2002 prototype-based, leased vehicles in the hands of customers in three different American states, including the state of New York, city of Las Vegas, Chula Vista, San Francisco and the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
Limited marketing of a latest fuel cell vehicle based on the 2007 concept model began in June 19, 2008 in United States and it will be introduced in Japan on November 2008. Honda believes it could start mass producing vehicles based on the FCX concept by the year 2018. --->more| Honda FCX Clarity | |

Honda FCX (2006)
While the 2005 Honda FCX was our second-generation fuel-cell vehicle (FCV), it was the first to be powered by a Honda-designed and manufactured fuel-cell stack. And it was certified by both the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for commercial use. The 2005 FCX achieved a nearly 20-percent improvement in its EPA fuel economy rating and a 33-percent gain in peak power (107 hp vs. 80 hp) compared to the 2004 FCX. --->more

Honda New FCX (2005)
American Honda today announced the lease of two 2005 Honda FCX fuel cell vehicles to the state of New York, the first state customer for Honda fuel cell technology and the first customer for a fuel cell vehicle in the Northeastern U.S. The 2005 FCX is powered by Honda's originally developed fuel cell stack (Honda FC Stack) with the breakthrough ability to start and operate in sub-freezing temperatures, making it possible to place the car in New York state for year-round operation. The announcement was made in ceremonies held today in the state capitol of Albany with New York Governor George Pataki and American Honda president Koichi Kondo --->more
